Terms of Service

VAYRA is currently in beta. By using the app you agree to these terms. We may update them as the product evolves — we will notify you of material changes.

1. Who we are

VAYRA is a travel intelligence app developed by Darast, based in the Netherlands (darast.nl). We help travellers build personalised itineraries that adapt to their rhythm and behaviour over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use VAYRA. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not share your account with others. Notify us immediately at vayra@darast.nl if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. What VAYRA does

VAYRA generates travel itineraries using AI (OpenAI) based on your preferences and behaviour. Itinerary suggestions — including venues, times and routes — are generated automatically and may not always be accurate, current or available. Always verify critical details (opening hours, bookings, safety conditions) independently before travel.

VAYRA is not a booking platform and does not take responsibility for reservations, payments or travel arrangements made outside the app.

5. AI-generated content

Itineraries, descriptions and suggestions are produced by AI and may contain errors, outdated information or fabricated details. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content. Use your own judgement when following suggestions.

6. Your data

We collect and process your data to personalise your experience. This includes account information, travel preferences, rhythm and behaviour signals observed during app use, and trip data you provide. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect, how we store it, and your rights under GDPR.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use VAYRA for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or exploit the service
Upload content that is harmful, abusive or infringes third-party rights
Impersonate another person or create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Intellectual property

VAYRA and its underlying technology, design and content are owned by Darast. Your trip data and preferences remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to process your data to operate and improve the service.

9. Third-party services

VAYRA integrates with third-party providers including OpenAI (AI generation), Supabase (data storage), Mapbox (maps and routing) and Google (places and photos). Use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

VAYRA is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Darast is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated itineraries.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim (or €10 if no amount was paid).

11. Changes to the service

We may modify, suspend or discontinue VAYRA at any time, particularly during the beta period. We will give reasonable notice where practicable.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & Account → Delete account. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence require otherwise.
